I've just installed the latest version of visual studio for Mac (version 17.6.1), is this extension compatible? I downloaded the .vsix file but when I try to install it with the extensions manager it does not recognize the file as an installer.

It's not a bug. VS for MAC doesn't support VSIX extensions
