Project details: Diesel is a performant query builder and ORM for rust that focuses on compile time checking your SQL queries.

Short bio: I'm Georg, the current maintainer of diesel. I'm part of the project team for 6 years now. In addition I'm the author of diesel-async, an extension crate that provides async database connections for diesel.
Looking for: The Diesel project is looking for help on various issues. Issues marked as "good first issue" and "mentoring available" should not require any advanced rust or diesel knowledge, so anyone with some Rust knowledge should be able to work on them. Especially diesel-rs/diesel#4216, which seeks to add support for more json/jsonb functions to Diesel is a good starting point.
