Not able to install the extention on Google Chrome

Hallo,
firstly thanks to provide such an extention.

Today I tried to load it into Chrome extention, it doesn't work.
A mistake jumps out, saying there is one file not readable or broken.
Each step I did is exactly as the instruction.

Could you please have a look at the code?
Maybe Chrome has updated something that prevents the installation of this file?

same issue. Using windows
File C:\Projects\medium-unlimited-master Error Could not load background script 'background.bundle.js'. Could not load manifest.

UPDATE
so i unpacked the ./dist folder in chrome. The extension works now.
it has an error though Uncaught (in promise) Error: Bad Request Context _generated_background_page.html Stack Trace background.bundle.js:1 (anonymous function)

~I have everything installed perfectly, but after restarting the browser, the extension disappears. Nothing helps, what is the reason I do not know.~

The extension is removed if you delete the folder
