Hey thanks. That is true but I can't find where that .asoundrc link reference might be. There is no .asoundrc file and there shouldn't be. Could you let me know what page you clicked on to get that 403 error please?

That links directly to alsa.opensrc.org/.asoundrc, which either doesn't exist or is blocked by an nginx rule. I'm mentioning the latter specifically because depending on what the rest of your setup is, it's commonplace to end up with an nginx location snippet that blocks access to any dotfile (except for those under /.well-known), to prevent things like accidental exposure of git repos. Just a hint from personal experience, I'd look for that first - it's a 403, not a 404, after all.
