what is the postid parameter?

The method you are using GetPost, returns an already existing blog post from a WordPress site. The postId parameter is the unique id of the post you are trying to retrieve. See the WordPress specifications for more details around the API http://codex.wordpress.org/XML-RPC_WordPress_API
