What does this indicator measure?

Definition: This indicator measures the physician rate, which are health professionals, including generalists, specialist medical practitioners, and medical doctors not further defined. The World Healthcare Organization (WHO) estimates there should be at least 2.5 medical staff per 1,000 people (World Bank, 2023).
