@oderwat thanks for opening the issue. TwirpQL mixes two main technologies: protobufs/twirp and gqlgen which have a few breaking changes over time. I have not had much time with my day job to maintain and fix a lot of the breaking changes.

One idea I had in the future is that I mainly just want the Graph(i)QL part of GraphQL instead of a full GraphQL server so that might be what the project eventually becomes but I'm more than happy to take maintainers to fix up whatever is currently broken.

I'll update the README status to reflect the current state.
