In the iterations directory (e.g. ITERS/it.0), there are files like *.legHistogram_car.png. The should contain what you are looking for. There is also *.legHistogram.txt, which should contain the raw data.
Please note that they may be a bit tricky; for example, a pt trip that consists of walk-bus-walk-subway-walk may be counted as three walk legs.
