What are the pros of Ext3fsd compared to ext2fsd?

None really.
Sometimes they are used interchangeably inside the same post.

Or if you really wanted to do down with speculation, I suppose "Ext2Fsd" could even be interpreted as the whole project like ever, while Ext3Fsd is meant to be the "release name" for versions after ext3 support got in place (or perhaps it should be interpreted as the "parts of the driver" specific to ext3, and not shared with ext2?)
