Hi Matt! I recently discovered your lens disassembly videos on YT while attempting to repair a Vivitar 135mm vintage lens. Its aperture control ring is for some reason not correctly connected to the diaphragm so it just rotates without stopping the blades down. I'm going at it rather blindly, however, since I don't have a spec sheet for this lens and searches have not yielded much success. I'm curious where you find your component breakdowns for various lenses or if you simply go at it based on general lens component knowledge. Any advice you could give would be appreciated!
