I've been following this project for a while and it looks very interesting. Are there any plans to implement OIDC as a sign-in method for the self-hosted versions of Maybe?

@hkamran80 yep, likely will have some additional options in the future. We're just keeping things very simple for now so we can prioritize dev hours on feature work.

Would you mind sharing in more detail what you're looking for specifically?

If it's a specific provider, I'd recommend labeling this issue with that provider's name so that people can vote on it.

Got it—is your server built from scratch? Or are you leveraging an open source library / tools?

I use Authentik, but I know a lot of self-hosters also use Authelia.

Would love to see OAuth/OIDC enabled

I'm also on the path to self-hosted SSO and OAuth/OIDC is great.

I'd like to throw out the idea of adding LDAP as a temporary hold-over (i'm assuming it'd be easier to implement?)

I'd also throw SAML into the ring. I don't know how high the need to for this authentication method is, but just for completeness/compatibility sake it might be worth considering

OIDC is good. Google V3 follows the OIDC standard if I'm right.
