Simple color all points in a layer

Can someone help me assign a color. any color to a shp file I add? I read about styles and classify and fill but these do not change the default color. My project produces 4 distinct layers. My goal is to assign a color for each. A layer can have over a hundred thousand points, separated by 30 meters. Mapshaper has been very fast to display the shape file. The default is either green or black. The other shapes come in as green so the layers blend.

I posted a screen capture of an example layer. How do I change all the points to red?
