Hi !

It would be great if we could use models separately. I have an app without any assets where I'd like to include your gem but it's impossible since it has dependencies to jquery-rails / jquery-ui-rails

Moreover, all projects that are not using jquery are in the same situations.

But it means creating two separate gems I guess (like resque/resque VS resque/resque-web)

Agree with this. Want to use this in a Rails API app, and I'm not interested in the view generators (for now).

I do think this is a good idea as well. I might take a crack at creating a plutus-web gem and moving views into there. I think that'd also ease development .
