How to update Mealie as an Add-on?

I struggle to update my Mealie install as an add-on for Home Assistant. I keep ending up with an install without my recipes, or even with a locked account. Could someone outline the steps for me please? Maybe even update the dummy guide here, so it includes the HA add-on? https://docs.mealie.io/documentation/getting-started/updating/
