Seed a list of tools

Please provide a concise description of the problem that would be addressed by this feature.

Depending on your culture, you may have a different set of tools and techniques.

However, the basics (paticularly of western cooking) are a subset of:

(Saucepan, stock pot, oven, grill, frypan, baking dish)

And then it expands
rice cooker, slow cooker, pressure cooker, mixer, blender, wok, sous vide...

Please provide a concise description of the feature that would resolve your issue.

Having the "basics" seeded would be useful.

Potentially a simple taxonomy of technique => tool could be later used for extracting tools needed - Bake -> likely requires oven.

Please consider and list out some caveats or tradeoffs made in your design decision

Current wikipedia lists may not be what more experienced/trained chefs would choose as the "basics"
