Please provide a concise description of the problem that would be addressed by this feature.
Mealie allows users to add nutritional info for their meals, but this is not currently integrated into search as filter and sort options. The info is already there, and adding this would allow for far easier diet planning
Please provide a concise description of the feature that would resolve your issue.
Add a "Nutrition" filter tab to the right of "Foods". At the top would be a toggle between "greater than" and "less than". Calories and nutrients would then have checkboxes next to the left of each, and a text field to their right. Entering a number in the text field and enabling that nutrient would then filter results to recipes that either have more or less of that given quantity of that nutrient.
Add a "Nutrition" option as a sort category, which when hovered on or clicked/tapped shows a submenu off to the side with calories and each of the nutrients supported by Mealie. Clicking one once then sorts by that option.
Please consider and list out some caveats or tradeoffs made in your design decision
The method of filtering I described wouldn't accommodate users who want to filter for "more than X of A" AND "less than Y of B". It can only do multiple "more than X,Y,Z of A,B,C" or "less than X,Y,Z, of A,B,C". Not sure the best way to solve that without making the UI messy though.
