Hello Everyone!
Ok so this might be more useful down the line, if the processor ever runs out of memory due to the added code.
BUT I think its good to discuss it
So getting a bit of inspo from the O_C apps , I think it could be cool to organize different firmware bins.
Do you want your performer to have Stochastic mode and logic? Download firmware one!
Do you want Arps , internal keyboard and metropolis style sequencing? Download firmware 2!
And so on.
Obviously it becomes a possibility only when the processor cannot handle anymore code, but until then, well , i think we should try to stuff it with as many features as possible, since the best outcome would still be to have all the Apps (?) in one single firmware
However swappable firmwares could be a solution if and when bigger things get implemented ( I have recently suggested a MI Grids style drum sequencing , morphable patterns kinda thing, introducing also output grouping, which would be amazing, but i can see how that would occupy a lot of memory, so the idea of separate firmware with different sets of feature came to my mind)
