Is it possible to use the target option in the way shown in the examples in React? I'd like to get this "Annotating a Point" effect.

I haven't tested, but you should be able to just set the className property on your element to get the effect you desire. Give it a try!

I've been trying various alternatives but haven't managed to get it to work yet.
