Description:

The Semantic Kernel project would benefit from a user-friendly, beginner-oriented installation guide, similar to the one available for AutoGen. The current AutoGen installation documentation found here is straightforward, easy to navigate, and is updated regularly. Implementing a similar guide for Semantic Kernel would help lower the entry barrier for new users and streamline the setup process.

Proposal:

  • Create a dedicated installation guide: Develop a step-by-step guide that covers the installation and initial configuration of Semantic Kernel.
  • User-friendly structure: Follow a format similar to AutoGen's documentation, with clear instructions, screenshots (if applicable), and troubleshooting tips.
  • Easy maintenance and updates: Ensure that the documentation process is integrated with the project so that updates are easy to roll out alongside new releases.
  • Beginner-centric focus: Tailor the guide for users who are new to the project, reducing the need for extensive prior knowledge.
