Some short-term improvements to the explorer include:

use the proper units labels on the axis if they are provided for a given parameter or variable, as suggested by @bprest
add the ability to indicate a Date type of the time dimension of a model so explore shows the proper date indices instead of integers re. https://forum.mimiframework.org/t/working-with-dates-time-steps/184
