For players to place AOE spells, it should be possible to do this with the external keyboard device.

Verify that:

  • a button can be pressed to enter "Template Mode" (X or Z)
  • the button should cycle between circle, cone, square, ray or exit if the button has been pressed a fifth time and delete the tile
  • the initial position of the template should be the token of the player, except for cones and rays which should originate from the direction the token is facing
  • after the template has been placed it must be confirmed with another button press (SPACE)
  • in "Template Mode" square and circle tiles should be movable with W, A, S, D and resizable by holding SHIFT and pressing W, A, S, D
  • in "Template Mode" cone and ray tiles should always originate from the token and rotate around the token with A & D and be resizable in length with W & S, a D&D cone always has the same angle (PHB 204) so we don't need to be able to resize the angle
  • optional in "Template Mode" it could be possible to select and change existing templates that belong to a player by pressing X and remove them by pressing E
