Thank you for sharing the code.
It really works pretty well.
I realised that the published core message from the vesc_driver_node is in the order of magnitude off.
For example I command the motor to rotate at 954 RPM, the published speed in the core message is 6.2587e+7.
The motor seems running at the right speed. but the core value seems way off. The whole system works pretty well with the vesc tool, with all the measurements correct. There seems to be some data type conversion issue.
