Installed the 2.5 (beta) and the MusicBrainz Picard didn't connect on several attempts with different tracks.

Well, we need a logfile of when the issue occurs if we want to have any clue what failed. So I need a logfile of your 2.5 installation.

But Mixxx stores the logfiles of the last 10 startups. Maybe you have it stil on your disk.

Yes, there are several log files. However since I've reverted back, the log file looks like it's the only TEXT file, the others are numbered files (not text files). When you ran the beta version, were you able to connect to Picard Musicbrainz?

I don't see any access to MusiBrainz in the 2.4.2 log, but 2.5 shows TLS fails:

I removed the 2.5 beta and now have 2.4.2 which MusiBrainz appears to work fine.
