Even though it's already a couple of years that this issue was created it is still valid for my use case as well. I have around 400 playlists that I've imported when I started using Mixxx and since then I've had a lot of time to go through my library and remove all the duplicates of songs I've purchased. This means that a lot of the entries in my playlists have changed dramatically which means that the internal ID every entry received at the initial import are not valid anymore.

So I prefer to build up the playlist library from scratch but I really don't want to delete 400+ playlists one by one ;-)

I hope there is a (not to complex) solution for that simple problem ...

Sorry for digging that old issue up but is there any chance that this will be made possible one day?
I just had to delete more than 800 playlists one by one not only selecting it and hitting the delete button but also confirming the delete action and hitting return ...
That makes it more than 3200 clicks 😒

FYI in case this is only about the History playlists: since Mixxx 2.4 there's an option in the context menu of History year nodes that allows to delete all unlocked playlists

So it would be just 3 clicks per year ; )

A first step would be to port that History action to Playlists and Crates.
Multi-select is a bit tricky IIRC from my last experiments.
