Default tab, preserve selected tab, or preserve entered text in search

Suggestions:

1. Allow us to set a default tab we'd like to be loaded into when clicking the "browse" button on the left.
2. Preserve the last manually selected tab when entering the browse section.
3. Preserve the text input in the search field when changing tabs.

Reasoning:
As someone who enjoys making modpacks, I search for mods far more often than I search for full packs. I'm working on a modpack for 1.21, and every time I enter the browse section on the left, it always defaults to the "modpack" search tab at the top. I forget to change this every other time, so my searches for mods turn up no results because I haven't selected "mods". And if I then select mods, it deletes the text from the search box so I have to type it again. For someone with memory issues like mine, this is an efficiency nightmare, and just a really irritating usability/accessibility issue, especially for pack makers.

Any of the three solutions above would rectify this to varying degrees. Personally I'd like to see options 2 and 3 implemented the most because I think they're the simplest to understand for the user of the software, and they solve the issue the most gracefully.
