A drop down list that takes only one item does not get dismissed when I select an item from the search results.

In the BBMRI catalogue there are several forms that use drop down lists that fill with data items from other tables. You can type part of the name to find them. When I find the item I'm looking for I click on the item to fill it in. I would expect that the drop down list would collapse again when I have picked the right option, but it doesn't and I have to click outside the list to dismiss it. You can see this issue for instance on the category field when adding a new biobank.
