iDEAL

Mollie allows you to quickly and easily accept payments through iDEAL, the most used payment method in the Netherlands. It only takes 10 minutes to start receiving payments and there are no hidden fees involved. You only pay for successful transactions.

Configuration

iDEAL is integrated like every other payment method in Shopware. Just activate it, and make sure it's assigned to your Sales Channels.

Please also verify that the payment method is enabled within your Mollie Dashboard.

Workflow

If the user decides to pay using iDEAL, he will be redirected to the Mollie page where data can be entered.

After a successful payment, the user will be redirected back to your Shopware shop.

To improve the experience of your customers, there is a list of available issuers added to the payment selection page. Any selected issuer on this page, will be automatically used when starting the payment process.

What to consider?

There's nothing to consider when using this payment method. It should just work!

If somehow the issuer list cannot be loaded, there is also be a selection list on the Mollie page. When facing problems with the issuer list, please see the Mollie logs for more information.
