It is expressed on various cell types, including platelets, monocytes, and some lymphocytes. One study showed higher rates of CD36 mutations in FL relative to DLBCLs.[@pasqualucciAnalysisCodingGenome2011] ## Relevance tier by entity |Entity|Tier|Description | |:------:|:----:|--------------------------| |![DLBCL](images/icons/DLBCL_tier1.png) |1 |high-confidence DLBCL gene[@pasqualucciAnalysisCodingGenome2011]| ## Mutation incidence in large patient cohorts (GAMBL reanalysis) |Entity|source |frequency (%)| |:------:|:--------------:|:-------------:| |DLBCL |GAMBL genomes |2.29 | |DLBCL |Schmitz cohort|4.89 | |DLBCL |Reddy cohort |2.80 | |DLBCL |Chapuy cohort |2.99 | ## Mutation pattern and selective pressure estimates [[include:dnds_CD36.md]] ## Expression ![](images/gene_expression/CD36_by_pathology.svg) [[include:browser_CD36.md]]
