take long time to visualize the result in rviz #296

System: 12.04 32bit - most updated moveit package with branch groovy-devel

In short:

I have just updated moveit in my PC.
With demo.launch, after press button 'plan', this message below appears right a way
[ INFO] [1376512733.368372250]: Created 100 (51 start + 49 goal) states in 66 cells (30 start (27 on boundary) + 36 goal (36 on boundary))
[ INFO] [1376512733.368451417]: Solution found in 0.317673 seconds
[ INFO] [1376512733.444792435]: Path simplification took 0.076179 seconds

But it took almost one minute for visualizing the motion result in Rviz (in one minute the rviz stay stand by with nothing changes, only the waiting bar runs forward and backward).

I don't have that problem from previous version (3 month ago)

Are you running rviz on the same machine as the rest of the system? This really sounds like time is out of sync when using multiple machine.s

I only run the demo.launch on 1 computer. So it is not the case here.

It has the same problem when installing with ros-pkg in synaptic. Please check!

Have not been able to reproduce. Can you supply more info? What robot are you using?

allows to turn off noisy debug messages from planning scene monitor while keeping debug on for moveit_planning package.
