interface area is blank

The remix area is completely blank, tho' on inspect, there is info, so the problem is somewhere in appearance - maybe the css color is white and so is background? but there is nothing to select and edit there either.

Just noticed this myself - it appears to be a chrome version 69 issue. Half my room worked fine chrome 68 but the other half which had the updated version had a blank editing box

Hope that helps someone to fix it... Off to see if I can downgrade my chrome to 68!!

as an alternative: goggles is currently not on any development roadmaps, but I did just start working on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/page-mixer in my spare time, which does what goggles used to do (before browser security models were as strong as they are today), with publishing backed by github rather than mozilla-managed infrastructure.

I should be able to compile that for Chrome as well, supposedly there are only a few differences in which names to use in the code, so if that's something you would be interested in testing, I can try to get a Chrome version published in addition to already available Firefox version.
