This is feedback by NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) who is integrating their professional development badges with the OBI, so career relevant and awesome:
"I have gone back to the screen Mozilla “Open Badge Backpack” pop-up and versus selecting the blue “Cool, let’s go!” button, instead I selected the red “I am not [email protected]” button, which allows me to input another email. I’m still waiting for that nsta confirmation email, but again the messaging may be off… I really AM [email protected] too! So maybe something like login via alternate email, or allowing multiple “validation” emails when setting up the Persona account, or an intermediate step somewhere asking the user to log-in using the email that matches the one they used with the issuer (less elegant-problematic—they will not remember)."
"...I’m sure you are already aware of this, in an interoperable system like this, individuals will be using different emails across different systems/issuers (e.g., NASA, NOAA, NSTA, School, etc.), so the “challenge” of matching/validating one email may be problematic on a larger scale if the Persona system only allows a single email when setting up the account?"
Not sure this is possible but he makes some good UX points here so thought I'd include.
