Mod lags in Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric 0.15.7

Hello Developer,

I am trying to use this mod and no matter what I do this mod lags a lot.
Just by adding just one guard it starts lagging to the point where mobs fly for a short time then land or walk very slowly.
I have determined this mod is the reason for this lag as all other items I have installed (I.E - Mods, Shaders, etc.) are not the cause.
The Forge version never lagged like this and I suspect it may be become of the reformatting to fabric.
If you could fix this then I will greatly appreciate it.
