In 1.21, it seems like guards with swords are unable to kill stationary mobs such as pillagers, because they (guards) would take a step back every time they approached and never get in close enough to hit them. Mobs such as zombies can be killed, because they approach the villagers as they step back, so they are close enough to be hit, however, it stills sometimes do not get close enough to land hits. The point of guards is to protect villagers from a raid, so them not being able to hit pillagers or evokers really makes the mod a lot less practical. If this is intentional, please ignore this.

Crossbow villagers work fine, however they would very often (70%) shoot way too high to land hits, even at distances of 7 blocks. Pillagers can easily take them down, as their aim is very good, and i don't think it is practical to have 3 villager guards for just 1 pillager.

I just want to say that this is a great mod (my favourite) and i really enjoy playing it. If these bugs can be fixed then i'm sure people would enjoy it a lot more. For me it is going to stay permanently in my laptop- whether it is buggy or not.

Thank you for reading this
