Welcome to the consolidated-tei-schema wiki!

This repository is a central location for the schemas and other common files (such as processing scripts) used by TEI catalogue projects such as Medieval manuscripts (internal to Oxford) and Fihrist (reusing the same schema and basic platform to create a UK-wide union catalogue of manuscripts from the Islamicate world, with content provided by many partner organizations.)

This is also a central location for documentation on common tasks and workflows. See Working with TEI files for instructions for cataloguers to set themselves up to edit the manuscript descriptions. See Processing for details on processing TEI files in order to update the web sites.
