During gameplay the game will occasionally disable touch input from my screen. 
The character will still move as if my last touch were active. The 4 soft keys 
at the bottom of my device work. I have to turn the screen off and on again to 
get the device to take touch input again. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Samsung Mesmerize with Android 2.3.4
