Hello,

Your project was claimed as open source, but there is no source here, only Gerber and BOM.

Could you please push your Altium sources ? I'd love to convert them to a KiCAD project for more accessibility.

Hi,
I kinda understood how it's organized (the version number on the pdf files), and I discovered that the Gerber files are from v2 version. Where are the gerber from the v4.1 version ?

I also detected bugs on the v4.1 pdf. The pin 4 of the audio component should be connected according to the schematics, but it's not on the PCB pdf pages.

Also, the audio component is not WS8960 (as written on the issue), but WM8960.

@Salamandar Thank you for your report. I believe pin 4 of WM8960 is connected in latest version of the schematics (4.3) which have yet to be uploaded on GH. This is a work in progress!

@Salamandar / Regarding the open source question : yes we will push the Altium sources as soon as we believe we have a final PCB.

@232enero Thanks. That will allow people who didn't get a kit to build their own.
Also, I started to rewrite the project on a more opensource-friendly CAD software, KiCAD. But without the latest design, I can't do much ;)

@Salamandar We also offer, for free, PCB for those who can solder SMT components (no stencil though...).

@232enero I'm not afraid of very small SMD, but without a soldering station you can't solder the mics.
You could have done a footprint with long pads accessible from around the component to allow handsoldering ;) (a bit like QFN)
