Does inadyn really check periodically?

I installed and configured the addon and it seems to work. But I don't see it periodically giving any messages that it checked again. How to verify that it actually checks and verifies the ip address? Just in case I also added "period: 300" to the configuration but no change in behaviour. Below is the output of the addon log.
