Currently it's not possible to get statistics on network interface failures. Some nice-to-have statistics would be:

How many configuration attempts/failures for each network interface?
Access point authentication attempts/failures
DHCP attempts/failures
etc.

This issue is for coming up with the general infrastructure for reporting these (ideally via the property system) and keeping track of one thing.
