Help with button not showing

Hi :)

Im having trouble adding an external link button to prefix detail view

this specific views:

/ipam/prefixes/<id>/ and /ipam/prefixes/<id>/ip-addresses/
I've successfully implemented something similar on the device page before, but I'm hitting a wall with this view.
I have tried working with some AIs, but they seem to get confused with the recent 4.x.x changes, and haven't been able to provide a working solution.
I'm holding off on posting any code right now since my current attempts are a bit messy from trying different AI suggestions. The goal is simply to add a button that opens an external link.

I can figure the logic of the "button press" out my self, but im really stuck in getting it to show in the first place :(

Why not using the custom link option that is build in, instead of coding the view itself?
