We removed this previously but have since been informed by aws that decoding the aws account ID we were doing is a good way to get the information we need for forming entity relationships.

  • Bring back the aws account ID decoding logic
  • Update dynamodb instrumentation to use this if account ID is not provided in the config by the customer
  • Also update the lambda instrumentation in the same way
