[Bug]: No explorer integration on Windows 11 #7759
Comments
@shumafuk can you also share your configuration file (with the same privacy editing you did with the logs 💙 ) ? |
If you mean configuration file from NC server, unfortunately I cannot provide it, because I'm not admin of hosted NC (Hetzner, NX plan). Optional feature is installed, I did not uncheck it during installation process. I even tried:
But nothing changed. After restart, Nextcloud client still refuse to auto-start or show integration to explorer. |
Any tips what could block Nextcloud to integrate in explorer? I guess it's something in Windows? Like Nextcloud try autostart earlier than explorer and fail to integrate. But then I don't understand why it refuse to integrate after manual start of NC client. I'm sure it is not related to LTSC verison of Windows. Same behavior I had on Windows 11 Pro since around October 2024. |
Bug description
Integration with windows explorer is missing. There is no icons showing status of sync (on synced folders and files). There is no context menu of options of Nextcloud. Sync is complete.
I also noticed in autoruns.exe this bug:

Looks like NCOverlays.dll related problem. Client also refuse to autostart after login to Windows.
