[Bug]: Accessing shared files via WebDav not possible #7793

⚠️ Before submitting, please verify the following: ⚠️

Bug description

Setup: Account A has shared a folder with account B. Account B now wants to access a file in this shared folder via WebDav.
Same goes for a sync via Nextcloudcmd, there it shows the error "Could not complete propagation of ". However all folders and subfolders are created correctly, only the files are missing

Result: Access denied page is shown

Expected result: Accessing the file is possbile

Accessing the files in Webinterface works without problems.

Steps to reproduce

Try to access a file in your nextcloud that is shared from another account

Expected behavior

Accessing the file is possbile

Which files are affected by this bug

all files

Operating system

Linux

Which version of the operating system you are running.

Ubuntu 24.10

Package

Distro package manager

Nextcloud Server version

Nextcloud Desktop Client version

Is this bug present after an update or on a fresh install?

Updated from a minor version (ex. 3.4.2 to 3.4.4)

Are you using the Nextcloud Server Encryption module?

Encryption is Enabled

Are you using an external user-backend?

  • Default internal user-backend
  • LDAP/ Active Directory
  • SSO - SAML
  • Other

We will need more information to understand your setup:

  1. How are you running nextcloudcmd?
  2. Are you trying to access the server files directly via webdav?
  3. Which version of the desktop you are running?
  4. Result: Access denied page is shown
    What do your server logs show?
