Currently my desktop storage is full, as I enabled sync, I started downloading all the files from nextcloud server to local

it is trying to download entire nexcloud data to my local.

my local storage is getting exploded due to this

when you enable sync this should be lazy load by default.

updates should be synced to client.

• clear cache support (as it supported in mobile apps - Ios)

I take that you are talking about Linux? We have implemented virtual files for Windows and file provider for Mac OS which will give you the data on demand.

@camilasan in mac its not working. i needed to exclude data heavy folder from sync

@surapuramakhil are you aware that the desktop files client for macOS comes into two flavors including one where data is fetched on demand ?
I would suggest that you give it a try. You can find daily builds here: https://download.nextcloud.com/desktop/daily/macos-fileprovider/
As this does not seem to be a bug or valid feature request, I am closing the issue.
