context
Learning a new habit, like documenting is difficult.
It's wayyyy easier to procrastinate and saying we'll do it after. Promise.
objectif
Helping me and then maybe other to change that fact.
Understand why it's like that is the first step of getting better.
I discover that procrastinating documentation is kind of an addiction.
It's really hard to do it. "Mhe, I'll do it later, it's ok."
Then come the feelings of guilt, shame, and remorse.
"I know I should have done that! I swear, I'll do it next time." lol.
proposition
I had a dream. In the futur of makers, we'll see this in classbook:
The 12 Steps of NDA has changed so much for non-documentors all over the world. It has allowed them to fully embrace the concept of recovering from non-documenting. What’s more, it has given them a supportive group of peers all working toward the same goal.
IF non-documenting is taken as an addiction.
THEN why not using the addiction treatment program.
12 steps addapted from AA to makers who want to get better at documenting their work.

In the First Step, the addicted person has to accept the fact that their addiction is beyond their control. With that admission comes the realization that “their” way of doing things simply isn’t working.
Faut arrêter de se mentir. Avoir du temps plus tard, ça n'arrivera jamais.
Et non, on ne documentera pas plus tard.
The Second Step is about HOPE. Rather than being resigned to a hellish downward spiral of addiction, a person comes to understand that recovery IS possible.
Mais tout n'est pas perdu, on peut s'améliorer. Nous ne sommes pas seul. :)
C'est les 2 premières étapes du programme des AA
