I don't know how to get in contact with you, so sorry for opening an issue.
Your project is really interesting.
I have pretty same coffee machine and I would like to replicate your project, at least from the electronic point of view.
From your pictures i wasn't able to understand where you got +5v and GDN to power esp8266. I can see you made connections with flat cables, could you please give me some insights on how to make the connections to coffee machine motherboard?
Instead of diodes I would like to use cd4066 chip to simulate button push.
