Psefabric vs. Network Fabric
- Network fabric approach.
- PSEFABRIC approach.
For simplicity, the layers 2 through 4 of Psefabric Management Data Flow Model are represented by one element "Demultiplexer & Configuration Layers" and layers 5, 6 are labeled as "Automation Layers".
PSEFABRIC is obtained by implementation of additional logic over the existing infrastructure. Thus, from a management perspective, it looks like fabric, but regarding hardware, it's your network that has been before.
So with this concept, we have management advantages of network fabrics, and at the same time, we have no disadvantages of them related to the need for their integration into the infrastructure with the usual services like firewalls, load balancers, complex routing, etc.
It is also important that the implementation of this solution does not require any purchase of new equipment.
