Upload all data to Dropbox in a consistent manner, including sourcing information, flag potential areas for improvement.

Let's do this in a more structured way. I've written a little Python script that creates all the basic csv files to hold the data for import into R. Now we need to fill them with the actual data we (hopefully) already have. Going variable by variable:

  • Tariffs (done in 5f28603)
  • Prices
  • Markups
  • Productivity
  • Firms / Establishments
  • Employment
  • Market Size (GDP)
  • Openness
  • Wages
  • Exchange Rates

All GDP data 1981-2014 was available on FRED, although Canadian GDP was only available in local currency (which shouldn't matter too much). Do we need it on an industry level?
