On January 12, Polygon announced the Amoy testnet as an alternative to Polygon’s Mumbai testnet. When Ethereum deprecates the Goerli testnet, Mumbai will also be deprecated. RPC calls to the Mumbai testnet now fail if you want to initiate a USDC swap.

Thanks for the notice! The switch to Amoy depends on the deployment of the transfer and HTLC contracts in the Amoy testnet by @mar-v-in, I have notified him.
