Backing up Docker volumes are hard and not fun. One would typically have to write a script to do a backup, typically to S3. Not Fun.
How about we build a tool that persists our data for us in a distributed manner. This ensures that our backups are not centralized to just one place, S3. We can also do a blazing fast distributed restores using Dat. Fun.

In this talk, we will talk about how to build/use a tool that will do this for us and how we could build an application around this.
