Before installation, perform the following on physical machines:

Update the UEFI to the latest version: to ensure maximum stability and compatibility
Disable CSM: legacy mode can cause various bugs and slowdowns
Disable Secure Boot: it conflicts with the NVIDIA driver, among other things
Enable TPM2 / fTPM: necessary for automatic LUKS unlock during boot

On virtual machines:

Enable promiscuous mode for the virtual network interface: necessary for realm discover to work properly
